Teacher of The Alexander Technique

Pupil's experiences of the Alexander Technique

'The Alexander Technique taught me a great deal and certainly led to my posture being vastly improved. Knowing the correct way to stand, to bend, to sit and to move may sound fundamental but many bad habits are inadvertently collected over the years which can lead to discomfort and often pain. With the correct guidance and support I was able to re-educate myself and release much accumulated tension and stress. An added bonus, of course, is increased self-confidence'.

S. E.

'I like the Alexander Technique because now I can sit comfortably without slouching and my backache from poor posture has almost completely gone'.

J.C.- Final year Ecology student

'I came to the Technique because I work as a computer programmer and was becoming concerned about my back and wrists, suffering occasional pain in both areas and frankly feeling like I'm too young to just shrug it off. I'd heard that the Technique could help with posture and help stave off RSI'.

A.G. - Computer Programmer

'Thank you for teaching me the Alexander Technique while I was in Cardiff. It helped me a lot and I am really grateful. My flute recital was fine and I got a 2:1 in the end'.

F.H. - Music Student, (flautist)

Dear Sarah,

Hello! Just a quick note to say thank you so much for all the help you gave me over the last few months of teaching: My Mum came to visit and the first thing she said to me that for the first time in 24 years I was walking properly!! You don't know how much I appreciate that! It's a real shame I can't carry on, but I think that my Mum's comment just goes to show how useful it has been.

Thanks again, and I hope you're keeping well,

Sally
